I've pushed myself beyond my limits a lot, out of fear of conflict. My fear has permeated my life so subtly that sometimes I couldn't even feel that I should have said no instead of yes. I believe that many of us have enormous fears that we don't know what to do with, and that we sometimes don't even realize when we're acting out of fear.
