PHILANI MOYO REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT, YOUTH EMPOWERMENT, AND COMMUNITY SERVICE Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe – Mr. Philani Moyo, ZANU-PF Hwange West Shadow Member of Parliament and Managing Director of Shockwave Adventures, has reaffirmed his commitment to national development, infrastructure advancement, youth empowerment, and community service while addressing stakeholders at the CAB3 Initiative. Speaking before distinguished guests, community leaders, business representatives, and fellow Zimbabweans, Mr. Moyo commended the CAB3 Initiative for demonstrating the positive impact that can be achieved when communities, businesses, and leadership work together in pursuit of sustainable national development. Mr. Moyo reiterated his alignment with the vision of His Excellency, President Dr. Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, and the Second Republic's development agenda, which prioritizes infrastructure development, economic empowerment, and inclusive growth. Among the key issues highlighted was the proposed construction of a second bridge in Victoria Falls. Mr. Moyo emphasized that the project would help divert heavy commercial traffic away from the Central Business District, enhance public safety, protect the city's tourism brand, and unlock future investment opportunities. The address also focused on youth empowerment through adventure tourism. Mr. Moyo encouraged young Zimbabweans from across the country to explore opportunities in rafting, river guiding, and other adventure tourism activities, noting that Victoria Falls provides a unique environment for skills development, training, and employment creation. He further reflected on his longstanding commitment to community service, citing past donations of life jackets to community swimming facilities following tragic drowning incidents, as well as ongoing disaster response and humanitarian assistance initiatives undertaken through Shockwave Adventures and its partners in Matabeleland North and other provinces. "Leadership is not about titles; it is about service," said Mr. Moyo. "Together, under the guidance of the Second Republic, we must continue building safer communities, stronger infrastructure, and greater opportunities for future generations." Mr. Moyo concluded by expressing gratitude to all stakeholders supporting development initiatives aimed at improving the lives of Zimbabweans and advancing the nation's Vision 2030 aspirations.
