Splendid Wren and Grevillea in Watercolour

'Splendid Wren and Grevillea' measures approximately 16x16cms in size, is rendered in watercolour and features the spectacular Splendid Wren nestled in amongst a delicately coloured grevillea in flower. Following our recent discussions, this study explores the subject in a more traditional style with an elegant white background, a style i love of course. Definitely a technical challenge, this painting was an excellent opportunity to explore the diversity of a blue palette and intricate detailing.
