00:00 Picking up trash and complaining!? 02:06 Making bait 03:48 Introducing tackle 04:28 Measuring water depth 04:44 Introducing floats 05:06 How to hold dough balls 05:47 Fishing trip 29:55 Ending Hello everyone! This video is from a fishing trip in late June. It's been a while since I last came here, and the fishing spot was pretty dirty. I started cleaning up right away, but I also spent a lot of time preparing the float, so please take your time to watch. This time, I tried using various floats, but I found that long floats made it difficult to detect bites. The fish weren't very active, so they didn't move much even when I added bait. Also, the fish seemed to be moving sideways rather than downwards when I added bait, so I switched to a lying float. That seemed to work, and I got some big bites. I guess there are days like this. The waters off the Miura Peninsula are shallow, so if you move the bait away from the bottom, the fish often stop biting. I've encountered this situation many times when using cut fishing. Usually, there's less bait left around this time of year, so this year seems less active than usual. Fishing was easier in the winter. I didn't bring my grenades because I thought the fish couldn't be less active, so I was a little late in responding to the situation. Grape snares have become an essential for me. Limiting the time it takes to break the dough really makes fishing easier. Also, since you can fish without the dough getting bitten, you can fish in adverse conditions. This video was released around October, but this summer was really hot. Perhaps because of the heat, Negishi Port was a fishing spot where there were hardly any fish. It seems like the marine environment has changed significantly over the past three years since the start of the coronavirus pandemic. Comparing sea surface temperatures with previous years, they've been rising year by year. The main cause is likely the large meandering of the Kuroshio Current. The sea surface temperature in Tokyo Bay has risen considerably, and it seems likely that the oxygen concentration in the ocean is low, making it an environment where fish cannot survive. It seems that the sea is lifeless in places where fishing is difficult. Fish may be gathering in areas with good tides and where temperatures do not rise easily. At certain fishing spots, fish may gather from all over and you may even get a great catch. The river holds the key. With fresh water flowing in from the river, fish can survive in fairly healthy condition. However, we don't know what impact sudden heavy rains will have on the ocean. I haven't been able to find the answer to this question this summer. It's too hot. Fishing itself feels like a life-threatening experience.
