This encounter with the Rychlebské Mountains turned out to be much more interesting than I expected. We entered the range through an impressive complex of former quarries, then visited the ruins of Kaltenštejn Castle, explored a scenic meadow, and laboriously climbed Studniční Vrch. Along the way, there were plenty of springs, forest paths, and peaceful nooks, which can still be found in the Sudetes, far from the crowds. At the very end, I had an unexpected face-to-face encounter with a wild boar.
