Ernest Horsfall Jodel Aircraft Specialist
Video I captured in 2009. Ernest Horsfall, born in 1918, celebrated his 105th birthday the other day, April 2023. He is one of only handful of servicemen from UK, still alive from World War 2. In 2009 he came to Iceland, as he did many times. He is friends with my father, Jón Karl Snorrason. In 2009 I was making a small TV series about aviation and put a microphone on Ernie and my father asked him a few questions. I had the camera rolling for much longer during a casual chat because Ernie is a fun chap and nice to talk to. This is taken when he was 91 years old. Ernie is well known within the Jodel aircraft community. #ErnestHorsfall #jodel #airplane Please subscribe to my channel, like and I will answer comments.
