This documentary was filmed on the Vaslat Plateau in Üzümbağı Village, in the İspir district of Erzurum. While the Vaslat Plateau was originally home to 7-8 households, today only two neighbors continue to practice highland farming. One of these families is Uncle Abdurrezzak Keskin and his nephew, Zihni Bey. Uncle Abdurrezzak actually only goes to the plateau to help his son, Bünyamin. He takes his son's animals to the pasture in the mornings and grazes them, then takes care of them throughout the day. His biggest supporter on the plateau is his eldest daughter, who is on leave from Ankara. Working hand in hand, father and daughter ensure the grazing of the animals and produce animal products like milk, cheese, and butter.
