I land in Bali – and chaos reigns right from the airport! 😅 I forgot to fill out my electronic entry card, even though it's mandatory. Was I in danger of being denied entry? Luckily, everything went smoothly. But the chaos continued: The drive from Denpasar to Ubud took over 1.5 hours! Barriers wouldn't open, roads were only passable for scooters, and the driver needed to refuel. At my accommodation, I tried to get a SIM card and withdraw money from an ATM – no luck. The next day, I traveled to Ubud – and quite by chance, I found myself in the middle of a traditional Hindu ceremony. The locals explained that it was an annual ritual of the Queen of Ubud – I discovered it was a funeral with horse burning. A truly unforgettable moment. Afterward, I explored the town and shared the atmosphere of Ubud with you.
