Options for Animals Located in Wellsville, Options for Animals is an internationally recognized, accredited college that trains veterinarians and chiropractors in animal chiropractic care. The institution was founded by Dr. Sharon Willoughby, a veterinarian who also became a chiropractor after observing the benefits of chiropractic care on cattle. Since its inception in Illinois, the program has trained between 4,500 and 5,000 students from around the world. Classes are offered three times a year, with international students frequently attending the five-week summer course to gain certification. The segment includes an interview with an international student from the UK, currently working in Colorado, who joined the program to pursue certification in animal chiropractic. Harvest to Home Program The host visits the Wellsville Library to learn about the "Harvest to Home" program with Shelia Robertson, which provides fresh produce to the community. The program allows residents to pre-order a 20-pound bundle of at least nine different types of fresh produce for $17 every two to three weeks. The service operates year-round at the local library.
