Rifle Falls State Park Fall Colors! Caves to Exploring #relaxing

We visited Rifle Falls State Park in Fall (early October) of 2025, which turned out to be the perfect time to visit as the temps were mild, not too hot or cold, and the leaves changing made for spectacular views. This park is somewhat of a hidden gem and is just 14 miles north of Rifle, CO and 30 miles from Glenwood Springs. It’s a great place to visit with kids, and the lower falls area is wheelchair accessible. Admission is $10 per car or $4 per person if you walk or bike in.
