I got my large motorcycle license at the age of 19, and my first bike was a Vmax1200. I rode around Hokkaido with my university cycling club, and my aspirations of becoming a motorcycle rider led me to take up motorbikes. The following year, I cycled around Hokkaido and Shikoku alone on my Vmax1200, and then around Japan. *Solo In March 2011, I was hit by the Tohoku earthquake in Saitama Prefecture and decided to sell my Vmax, but the memories of that time never left me, so in 2015 I returned to Hiroshima. I never forgot the charm of motorcycles, so I bought my current Vmax1200 (my fourth) used. There were no major problems, but I repaired and customized it, spending about ¥200,000 on top of the purchase price, including a carburetor overhaul, gasket replacement, battery replacement, suspension replacement, muffler replacement, and footpegs replacement. Since it's an old bike, I'm enjoying it while still repairing it. Motorcycle history: Vmax1200, Buell XB9R, Vmx1200, XR250, Vmx1200, Vmx1200 (present) The reason I sold three Vmaxes was because I wanted to get rid of them and move on to the next bike, so I kept selling and buying them back. I'm currently on my fourth Vmax1200, and I've had no major issues with it and it's running smoothly. I've had to replace the battery on every Vmax.
