Stelvio Pass Live Playback 4K – Saturday on Fire! 🎬 June 27th — and Europe is officially melting. Heat wave across the continent, valleys turned into ovens, and yet up here at 2,500 metres above sea level, with the strong alpine sun on your face and a cool mountain breeze in the hairpins, it was actually glorious. A word of advice though: bring sunscreen. Even up here, the mountain sun has no mercy. 🌞 The traffic was extraordinary. A seemingly endless procession of incredible machines, fascinating riders, and drivers from every corner of Europe rolling through Tornante 10. Languages we barely spoke, conversations we somehow managed, and the universal language of the hairpin doing the rest. The important thing is that we understand each other in the curves — and mostly, we did. 😊 There were scenes that would fit perfectly into a riding safety tutorial — both as examples of what to do and what absolutely not to do. The mountain teaches every single day, and June 27th was no exception. But the highlight of the day — and one we genuinely did not expect — was the arrival of an ambulance, sirens blazing, racing up the pass at full speed. The reason? A BMW GS whose automatic SOS signal had not been switched off after a morning incident — by which point the rider had long since ridden away perfectly fine. We say this with respect to the incredible work emergency services do every day: dear German engineers, this particular feature might deserve a closer look. An ambulance charging up one of Europe's most iconic mountain passes in response to a ghost call is, at the very least, worth a rethink. 🚑 That said — the paramedics were absolutely fantastic. We gave them stickers. They earned them. From all of us here at Tornante 10: thank you for your service, and thank you for taking it in good spirits.
