Romuald Andrzejczuk from Białystok is 91 years old. He worked as a crane operator his entire life. This allowed him (after retirement) to recreate models of cranes, cars, and construction machinery with all their details and mechanisms. He has the largest collection of crane and road construction machinery models in Poland. He is one of the few in Europe who builds such large numbers of metal models from scratch – he draws the plans himself with meticulous attention to detail. He has won numerous awards, trophies, medals, and diplomas at exhibitions. However, he is underappreciated in Białystok. His works can be viewed at the exhibition at the Automotive Museum in Białystok (open every Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.)
