I Am Legend is a 2007 science fiction horror film directed by the talented Francis Lawrence who also brought us the Constantine film and the Hunger Games trilogy and starred Will Smith as the character of Doctor Robert Neville who is the protagonist who lives in desolation in New York City searching for a cure for the infected such as vampires and special zombies known as the Darkseekers or the Seekers of Darkness also known as the seekers of darkness who can not really come out to the light and only come out in the darkness being a danger and imminent threat to all animals and humans. The Krippin Virus also known as the KV Virus is a fictional disease that appears in the 2007 film titled I Am Legend also appears in its original novel of the same name which was written by the talented author Richard Matheson who is a renowned science fiction author. The Krippin Virus is the special pathogen responsible for everything we see in the I Am Legend universe. This virus wiped out human civilization in the epic I Am Legend film and that universe. This virus turns those infected into terrifying creatures known as darkseekers, who basically act like zombies or highly intelligent vampire-like beings that hunt, attack, and devour the uninfected in a very chilling way. They are a complete threat, as they have a unique type of society and a well-established hierarchy. That's why in this video, I'll explain the Krippin Virus from I Am Legend in detail.
