Bourée (Jethro Tull, J.S. Bach) performed by Michael Manring and Larry Kassin
From the Remembering Michael Hedges 20th Anniversary concert on Dec 2nd, 2017, a tribute to Michael's incredible life and legacy in music and love. Jethro Tull used the first eight bars of the J.S. Bach's "Bourrée in E minor" for lute in the third track in their August 1969 album Stand Up. Michael Hedges was a big fan of Jethro Tull and Ian Anderson's flute performances, so he really enjoyed playing this tune on the road with Michael Manring. Thank you to all who continue to listen to and play Michael's music! - friends of Michael Hedges
