Harbor Freight winch parasitic draw issue resolved?

Based on information I saw on an episode of Watch Wes Work I determined that the repeated dead battery issue on my four wheeler may be caused by a parasitic draw from the winch. I wall through a step by step process to add a power disconnect to just the winch with the goal of stopping this draw.
