Replace Your 2005 Acura TSX Rear Engine Mount

I made this video of me replacing my rear engine mount on my Acura TSX to help other people do this job. You'll need socket sizes 14mm and 17mm. First Generation ACURA TSX OEM Service Manual https://drive.google.com/file/d/1yuT-... You can check the mounts by using a floor jack. Insert a piece of wood between the floor jack and the engine/transmission, then jack up the engine/transmission and look to see if the rubber in the middle of the mounts is separating. The rubber needs to hold the whole mount together with no separation. There are three transmission mounts and three engine mounts. To check the transmission mounts, lift under the transmission. To check the engine mounts, lift under the engine. At 4:53 in the video you can see where I supported the engine and transmission. I used the underside of the transmission. As soon as you see the transmission lift you can stop jacking up further. If you use aftermarket mounts you will still deal with vibrations because aftermarket mounts don't perform the same as OEM mounts. I don't recommend aftermarket mounts, but if you want to go that route you can find after market transmission mounts on amazon too. Torque specs https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/fo...
