Tech Thursday: Autodesk Docs: Transmittals

In this week's Tech Thursday video we look at Autodesk Docs Transmittal. A transmittal is a formal means of sending project drawings, models, and other documents to another project member or team. Within Document Management, this formal sharing of information comes with a few key aspects: Notifications for sending and receiving. Instructions or a description of the transmittal and any required actions. A list of the content included in the transmittal and access to that content. An audit trail tracking the nature of the transmittal including specific document versions included, the members involved in the transmittal, and when any actions around the transmittal took place.
