The first official track day of the season, and it was time to return to Alcarràs. I was really looking forward to getting back on the bike after several months without riding, but this time there was an extra element: returning to the circuit where I had my first crash. For me, Alcarràs was practically a new circuit. The last time I was there, I barely managed to get any laps in before the accident, so the goal for this day was very clear: to regain my feel for the bike, to enjoy riding again, and to gradually rebuild my confidence. From the first run, I decided to take it easy. It was the first track day of the year, and there was no point in taking unnecessary risks. I gradually increased my pace, working on my technique, my position on the bike, and trying to feel comfortable in every corner. The priority wasn't the stopwatch, but finishing the day with a good feeling. However, on the last lap, I decided to push a little harder to get a real sense of where I stood after so many months without riding. Have I regained my confidence?
