Come and Get It (5.11 WI6-) | Hyalite Canyon, MT

(Mar 1, 2025) This route needs no introduction, but here's some history. Put up onsight by Alex Lowe in 1996, this has stood as a test piece for every aspiring climber that enters the House of Hyalite. Originally offered as 5.11 WI7- by Alex, but with advances in ice climbing the consensus is WI6 M7. Like Alex, I also am not a fan of modern mixed grading and think a simple rock climbing grade fits the route better than a label like 'M7'. I took a TR lap just before this to work the gear and it went too smooth to not take the sharp end. Filmed on GoPro Hero 10.
