Mercedes Benz CLK GTR - 1/18 Maisto Restoration with Carbon Pattern Decals

In this video, I show the restoration of a Maisto Mercedes CLK GTR race car. The model was in poor condition, missing wheels and the paint was also very bad. I wanted the car to look like a prototype race car, and it was supposed to be completely painted black, no chrome, just black and carbon. I improved many parts here with Tamiya carbon pattern decals, and since I had no wheels, I used the wheels from a Lamborghini Countach LP800 as a replacement. These were the only wheels that visually matched the black color and the carbon parts. The wheels are also rotatable; I used real metal bearings here.
