The beauty of being on a small ship is having the ability to be able to visit hidden gems, secluded harbours, quaint lesser known ports that large vessels simply cannot access! We sailed around the Amalfi coast and Sicily from Civitavecchia near Rome, to the Pontine Islands, Ponza and Palmorola, Sorrento, Amalfi, Naxos (for Taormina), Lipari, and Gaeta before heading back to Civitavecchia. We sailed on Royal Clipper in July 2024. We paid £2350 per person for 7 nights in a Catagory 6 cabin which also icluded flights from Heathrow to Rome. Transfer from Rome to Civitavecchia cost €150.
