Also, residents of the southeast are still passionate about hunting and fishing. Hunting allows them to obtain meat and hides for clothing and other items, and fishing provides them with fresh food. Villages have always been famous for their folk crafts. Local residents are engaged in wood carving, embroidery, weaving and lace making. These crafts are passed down from generation to generation, and each item created by the hands of masters has its own uniqueness and soul. Society in such small villages is usually close-knit. Local people come together for common events such as festivals, fairs, sporting events and religious ceremonies. These events become a special occasion for strengthening good neighborly ties.
