Grandmaster Huh Mongil Teaching Korean Kickboxing (Kyeok Too Ki 격투기) in the 1990s
Grandmaster Huh Mongil is a 9th Dan in Kuk Sool Kwan Hapkido and founder of the special forces martial art "Sal Sool Kyuk Too Ki." He trained Kuk Sool Kwan under Kim Chun Soo, Yong Kyu and Master Kim Woo Tak in Seoul, South Korea in the regions of Gangwando and Soo Saek. In 1974, Master Huh was commisioned to create "Sal Sool Kyuk Too Ki" while part of Unit 30 Soo Saek Dae Dae. This martial art was created in response to North Korea's "Kyuk Sool." Huh immigrated to the U.S in 1982 and ran martial art schools in Orange County, California from 1984-2000.
