Building a Birch Plywood Desk | Modern Desk with Victorian Ash Legs

Building a modern plywood desk. (Note: I missed the live camera footage of the MultiCam CNC bed milling, but the cnc operator ran a standard downcut bit to keep the edges crisp and splinter-free and upcut bit for the pocketing to clear out the chips quickly and keep the channels perfectly clean.) In this video, I build a clean and minimalist plywood desk using high-quality birch plywood and solid Victorian Ash timber. The design combines the beautiful grain patterns of birch plywood with the strength and warmth of Australian hardwood, creating a functional desk that looks great in any home office, studio, or workspace. Watch the entire process from cutting and joinery to assembly and finishing. This project focuses on simple construction methods while achieving a modern furniture-style result.
