Twin Dees (Weeki Wachee Springs cave system) aborted exploration dive support activities

A glimpse into the role of support at Twin Dees. What was intended as a meet-and-greet dive to "The Beach" (approximately 1,200 feet in the system at a depth of 130 feet) to collect scooters, bailout rebreathers, and other unnecessary gear from exploration divers for a planned 14-hour dive was changed on the fly when the support team realized the divers were ahead of schedule by over an hour. This resulted in us gathering gear in tight spots, but also allowed us to speed up the clean up and remove gear from the cave early. I was also able to film divers getting out of their rebreathers and entering the habitat at 40 feet. Exploration diver Dr. Andy Pitkin discusses the turning of the dive in the habitat.
