CS420 8 - How to Edit Assembly Tutorial
Support us on Patreon: http://bit.ly/38mnveC Learn how to edit assembly code in games with our assembly tutorial. Changing variables was easy, to find the relevant assembly code and edit it does requires a lot more work. There are multiple types of assembly, including x86/x64, ARM & PowerPC. We will be focusing on x86 / x64 in our assembly tutorial which is probably what your computer runs, using Intel and AMD chips. Editing assembly is simple if the game is made with compiled language such as C & C++. Editing assembly on a browser game, game scripts & some game engines will be made more difficult. In this Assembly Tutorial you will learn everything you need to know to get started. CS420 is a Game Modding Course, a series of lectures brought to you by Zac from the Squally team. We have been working with Zac to help promote Squally for the past year, we think it's an awesome tool that has a lot of potential. Our support has come full circle and now Zac is putting a game modding course together with GH. Buy his game and learn how to mod games in a fun way: https://store.steampowered.com/app/77... https://squallygame.com/ https://www.squalr.com/ Squally is a 2D puzzle RPG game that teaches video game modding -- WITHOUT boring lessons, lectures, nor the need for prior experience. Instead, Squally teaches modding through fun engaging puzzles where learning is a by-product. This is not boring education software masquerading as a game. Entertainment and education are equally important, and this game won't disappoint. A 12 year old should be able to complete the main storyline in this game. For the more hardcore players, there will be more challenging side content. Topics such as data types, data structures, bin/dec/hex, and x86 assembly are gradually introduced through puzzles and gameplay. In other words: this game teaches you the hardest parts of computer science in the coolest way possible. Discussion: https://guidedhacking.com/threads/squ...
