Is TIKTOK and RAGEBAIT Making You OVERTHINK Goth?

For the first time I felt like I was truly myself. That I'd found my music, my people, my community that It meant everything to be part of it. I wanted so badly to do everything right that all of the doubt and over reaction came from the babybats. We'd psych over-selves out- hard! I can't imagine how difficult it must be for babybats today with so many fake 'goth' influencers misguiding and misdirecting. Scaring you into believing the subculture is this terrible, judgemental place and tiktok certainly doesn't help. It's hard enough to find what your looking for as a new goth without so many fear mongers, opportunists and jerk people throwing a roadblock in your path. It's not a scientific formula - But you know how they 'it's not that deep' - Goth is, it's just not the pain in the ass they make it out to be.
