Kiwanis Club of Ann Arbor, MI Crystal Ball Gazing, over 40 years ago in 1979

On the eve (1979) of a new decade, the late Emeritus Professor of Marketing at U-M, Dr. C. Merle Crawford, led an exercise, during a Kiwanis Club of Ann Arbor weekly luncheon meeting, in Crystal Ball Gazing- predicting the outcomes on a wide gamut of subjects for the new year (1980). Many stalwarts of the club (and the community) step to the podium to share their prognostications. The late Robert R. (Bob) Thalner - Thalner Electronics- video-recorded the program for play-back to check the results a year later. The club president is Richard O. (Dick) Brunvand. www.a2kiwanis.org
