The Maharaja of Venkatagiri, Sri Velugoti Sarvagnya Kumar Krishna Yachendra, was an ardent devotee of Lord Sri Rama. His Lord decided to bless him with proximity and an opportunity to serve Him in 1950! He got the opportunity to visit Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba in Puttaparthi in 1950 after the Venkatagiri kingdom had been amalgamated into the Indian Republic. What followed next was a series of amazing and touching miracles that culminated in the grandest miracle of them all - Swami granting the darshan of Lord Sri Rama to the king! This happened in the September of 1950 and it was followed by Swami gifting Rama permanently to the king.
