Cerro Hielo Azul - Dos días en El Bolsón
I climbed Cerro Hielo Azul from the Lago Natación Hut, one of the most challenging routes in the El Bolsón area. It's a climb that demands legs, mind, and patience. And in this video, I'm going to explain why, even with the sea of mountains before you, not everything is "worth it." The trail is marked by something painful to see up close: the traces of last January's fire. Entire sections of the forest are blackened, silent, the tree trunks split, along with the memory of the place. Walking through there leaves no one indifferent. It's an uncomfortable reminder of how fragile this corner of Patagonia is. At the same time, the opening of ANPRALE (Río Azul – Lago Escondido Protected Natural Area) brings increased controls, clearer rules, and mandatory registration for moving around the area. This is necessary to protect this stretch of the valley and the mountain, which receives more visitors and more pressure every year. In this video, I show the entire ascent, the trail conditions, the burned areas, the passage through Natación, and the arrival at the summit of Hielo Azul. And yes: I also talk about that oft-repeated idea that “everything is worth it”… and why I prefer to think in terms of effort rather than rewards. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ IMPORTANT: The content of this channel is based solely on my personal experiences and accounts of my journeys. The videos are not guides or recommendations for following the routes I show. All outdoor activities involve risks. I undertook the routes I hiked at my own risk, and I encourage you to take your own precautions and do thorough research. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Thanks for your continued support: 🔴 Ñeri - REAL DEHYDRATED Food 👉 https://alimentosdeshidratados.com/ 🔴 Sirius Mountain - Mountain Gear and Clothing 👉 / sirius.mountain ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Other hikes in the area: The Magic of Piltri: • La Magia del Piltriquitron - Trekking en E...
