Our trip turned scary when motorway police stopped us in the Kachy ke ilaqay and forced us to exit the motorway near Ghotki. After leaving the motorway, we had to travel through dangerous and unfamiliar routes on the Indus Highway. Things got even worse when we lost our way and suddenly found ourselves near the River Indus bank at night. Fear, confusion, wrong turns, police stop, and nonstop tension — this road trip had everything you never expect while traveling long distance in Pakistan.
