Cerro Punta is located over 6500 feet/ 2000 meters above the sea level. Considered to be "the bread basket" of Panama with vegetables growing everywhere as far as eyes can see in just the right climate to make production very successful. Quick note: if you'd like to visit early in the morning or after sunset, please remember to bring a jacket as it can get pretty chilly in this altitude. Vegetables do not get any fresher than over here and you can find huge bags of them along the road, even rhubarb is grown (have been unable to find that anywhere else in the stores).
