Blender 3D | Red Dot, Holographic, Reflex Sight Reticle Effect Tutorial

This video is NOT intended as ASMR. After having searched the internet, I was never able to find a tutorial that specifically applied to making the reticle of a reflector style optic in blender. The goal of this tutorial is to create a material that mimics the properties of typical red dot, holographic, or general "reflex" style optics which are: The reticle appears to be projected from some point in the distance The reticle is not visible from the front of the optic The reticle is only visible through the window of the optic Hopefully if you are looking to produce this specific parallax effect, this video will be a one stop shop for you.
