I usually script my videos on Google Docs, but I got so carried away with this topic that I ended up writing this one in my journal, lol. Here's a little chat about the fear of practice. This last month of 2024 is really bringing up many things in my life that need closure. And I reflected on a matter that's quite relevant to pretty much all of us in the art/creative community: The need to practice and our RESISTANCE TO PRACTICING. In my experience I learned two things: 1. Practice won't make us perfect, cause nothing can; 2. Practice gives us KNOWLEDGE. So why are we so afraid of practising any craft? Is it our impatience? Is it the fear of failure? Let's talk about it! In the meantime, I'll show you one of my latest art processes.
