ZABOU - l'espérance au bout de l'enfer de la drogue
It was in July 1992, during the filming of the documentary "Drugs: Back to Life," that we met Isabelle. She had been introduced to drugs by her mother at the age of 12. What followed was a long descent into hell and the devastating news of her AIDS diagnosis. At Saint Jean Espérance, a wonderful organization dedicated to helping drug addicts and founded by the Brothers of Saint John, Isabelle, affectionately known as Zabou, regularly came for stays where she primarily focused on welcoming and supporting the young people. Then she would leave again, only to return as if drawn by a magnet to this place where she felt so good and so loved… But already, she knew her days were numbered… More documentaries at: https://dcx-films.fr/ https://www.youtube.com/results?searc...
