what I learnt making this vest again❣️ (intarsia, blocking & more)
Hello! Recently I've been trying to not only follow through with my ideas but actually continue developing them & improving them. That's why I decided to make this vest again using the pattern from the vest series - but doing some things differently & trying a few new things. In this video, I share with you what I learnt from that process including: ✦ trying intarsia for the first time ✦ using 4mm needles (instead of 4.5mm) for the body & 3mm for the ribbing ✦ trying an alternative method for the neckline ✦ blocking for the first time I learnt a lot making this vest again and I'm so glad I did it (even though it did sit half-finished in my living room for about 3 weeks before I picked it up again). I hope you find this video useful and interesting ☺ xx ❀ Socials ❀ Instagram & Tik Tok: mena_knits ↳ Links to videos mentioned: Vest tutorial pt. 1: • knit vest tutorial 🧡 pt. 1 (step by step) Vest tutorial pt. 2: • knit vest tutorial 💕 pt. 2 (step by step) Vest tutorial pt. 3: • knit vest tutorial 💚 pt. 3 (step by step) @KnittycatsKnits Intarsia Knitting: a Knittycat's Knits Tutorial: • Intarsia Knitting: a Knittycat's Knits Tut... @RoxanneRichardson The Hows and Whys of Ribbing Modifications // Technique Tuesday: • The Hows and Whys of Ribbing Modifications... @10rowsaday How to UNDO KNITTING FROM THE CAST ON EDGE in Five Simple Steps: • How to Undo Knitting From the Cast On Edge ↳ Some blocking resources: https://www.thesprucecrafts.com/how-t... https://brooklyntweed.com/pages/block...
