I was working on several other very, very different Killing Eve videos and then suddenly felt the urge to edit Villanelle after last episode. I thought I would find some fun and quirky song, but while going through my playlist, this song came up and it just...hit me. I knew for a long time I wanted to edit this song and that Villanelle's speech would be a forefront of it, but I didn't originally see myself editing it purely to Villanelle. But god, this song fits her in such an ironic and painful way. She is always so close to having everything, and absolutely nothing. I know she's done some bad things, but she's a baby. Protect her.
