Columbus Stockade Blues- Empty Bottle String Band, 19 August 2017 Jonesborough Farmers Market

Empty Bottle String Band performs at their annual appearance for "Music At the Market" which is part of the Jonesborough Farmers Market held on Saturday mornings in historic downtown Jonesborough, Tennessee (Tennessee's oldest incorporated town). The band was formed when they were all students at East Tennessee State University to perform a one-time gig at a new on-campus farmers market (   • The Empty Bottle String Band-- "How Many B...   ). They were so well received they decided to keep going and one of their earliest off-campus gigs was at the Jonesborough Farmers Market (    • Empty Bottle String Band-- Railroad Bill   ). I gather that a performance at this location has become somewhat of an annual pilgrimage. . The Empty Bottle String Band is a five year old Old-Time/Americana band comprised of current and former students in the ETSU Bluegrass, Old-Time, and Country Music Studies Program.
