Yesterday, after leaving the rehabilitation center where he was receiving treatment, Ibrahim Tatlıses went to Tatlıses Kebap on Etiler-Nispetiye Street. Intensive security measures were taken for him; no one could get near the restaurant's entrance. Tatlıses, who traveled with six bodyguards and two escort vehicles, was accompanied by his wife, Ayşegül Yıldız, whom he married in his hospital room last week. The couple met with Şişli Mayor Mustafa Sarıgül, who officiated their wedding. The group ate kebabs and lahmacun and drank tea. Tatlıses waved to the journalists waiting at the door, accepted their get-well wishes, and said he would not make any statements. After Tatlıses left the restaurant, Mustafa Sarıgül answered reporters' questions, saying, "They called me to officiate the wedding, and I gladly accepted. Five or six hours after our phone call, we prepared all the documents and got married."
