Exploring Markville Shopping Centre! Markham Mall Walk (January 30th, 2026)

My first time exploring around Markville Shopping Centre otherwise known as Markville Mall (Cadillac Fairview Markville) in the Cadillac Fairview chain of malls in Markham, Ontario. This mall is located at the northwest corner of McCowan Road and Highway 7. Markville Mall opened back on March 17th, 1982 so it's been 43 years that this mall has been there in Markham in the suburbs. This mall has 2 floors and it was the largest shopping mall in York Region until 2004 when Vaughan Mills opened. It runs along Bullock Drive, located slightly west of McCowan Road. Its anchors are Winners, Walmart Supercentre, Sporting Life, Marshalls, Uniqlo and a Best Buy. Markville Mall has at least over 140 stores. I've spent at least 2 hours walking around Markville mall in Markham because the mall is a bit huge and there was lots to see. I remember the Sears and Hudsons Bay stores used to be at Markville Mall. I drove to Markville shopping centre from North York and once I was done my very long 2 hour mall video, I drove back to North York Toronto.
