An 8 Week Journey: The Road to Puppy Raising

This video show the work done by the staff of GDB's Canine Welfare and Neonatal Care Department. It covers the first 8 weeks of a guide dog puppy's life - from birth until they are ready to go to their volunteer puppy raising homes. It shows everything from what happens immediately after the pups are born, to their first veterinary appointments, to puppy socializing, highlighting all of the extraordinary care and attention go into the wellbeing of our pups at the earliest stages of their lives.
