Will Your Doctor Know About the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge?

The Medicare GLP-1 Bridge Program starts July 1, 2026, and many seniors may be wondering the same thing: Will the doctor even know about it yet? In this video, I’m talking about first steps for seniors who want to ask their doctor about the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge Program, $50 GLP-1 weight-loss medications, and whether they may qualify for coverage through this new program. I’m a 67-year-old retiree starting Zepbound myself, and I’m trying to understand the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge Program in real time. My goal is not to tell anyone what to do. My goal is to help other seniors feel more prepared when talking with their doctor, pharmacist, Medicare plan, or doctor’s office.
