124. Boy Lost in Sequoia

A 7-year-old boy gets lost in the Sequoia National Forest. He spends 6 days and 5 nights alone, with no shoes, no shirt, no food, and no equipment. The meager wilderness skills he had learned from his father helped him survive. Sleeping in hollow logs, bear dens, and under rocks he spent the nights alone cold and hungry. He had no one to talk to but God. This is a story of days gone by where folks put their own lives on hold to help out a neighbor or friend in need.
