In fact, the Budapest Advent Feast Christmas Market located in front of the St Stephen Basilican won this award four time in a row including for the 2024 Holiday season. Our Christmas market exploration started at the Vörösmarty Tér or Voromarty Square Christmas Market where they had more street food than we had even seen in any other market in Europe. From Hungarian goulash to gluhwein, lángos and töltött káposzta (cabbage roll) they really have it all. We tasted a little bit of everything and it was all so delicious and loaded with paprika of course!
