Army Chief of Staff General Andika Perkasa received the newly inaugurated Chief of the Indonesian National Police, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and other high-ranking police officers at the Indonesian Army Headquarters (Mabesad). On that occasion, the Chief of Police was invited to tour the Army Headquarters. "When was the last time Mr. Sigit was here? I wanted to take you around; there have been many changes here," said the Army Chief. Besides fostering camaraderie, the meeting also discussed the Chief of Police's invitation to conduct joint training between Army and Police personnel at the enlisted and non-commissioned officer levels to build synergy and solidarity. "Yesterday, we discussed implementing joint training at the executive level, for example, for a period of one or two weeks to get to know each other and build synergy," said the Chief of Police. Joint training between the Army and the Indonesian National Police (Polri) is already underway at the mid-level officer level, with six months of training at the Army Command and Command and Leadership Training Center (Sespim Polri). Indonesian National Armed Forces General Andika Perkasa also welcomed the joint training program for Lower-Level Management. "I think this is a good opportunity for every soldier to build interactions and networks, which will facilitate the completion of work in the field," said Andika.
