Nach der Eröffnung der Seilbahn wurden die Kapazitäten erhöht, da man auf deutlich größere Fahrgastzahlen gehofft hat, und die Tatra wurden durch die TMK2300 ersetzt. Die Popularität der Seilbahn blieb aber allzeit relativ klein und wegen akutem Mangel an Fahrzeugen und den deutlich höheren Kosten, die die "neuen" Straßenbahnen verursachen, wird inoffiziell darüber nachgedacht die Tatra Wagen zurück auf die Linie zu schicken nach dem Umbau der unteren Wendeschleife Mihaljevac. Obwohl alles darauf hindeutete, dass die Ära der T4+B4 in Zagreb langsam zu Ende geht, wurden in den letzten paar Monaten 2-3 Garnituren generalüberholt, und so für die nächsten 5-6 Dienstjahre fit gemacht.
