BMW R NineT: Time For The Saddlebag Upgrade!

In this video, we show you how to install Longride saddlebag holders on a modified 2015 BMW R Nine T. While there may be slight differences depending on the year and modifications to your R Nine T, the fundamentals of the installation process remain the same. Key features of these holders: Adjustable height for your saddlebags (high or low) Flexible setup for single or double saddlebags Compatibility with different mounting systems, including Longride's quick-release Sidekick system, making it easy to remove your bags in seconds. Our holders work with the BMW R Nine T, R Nine T Pure, and R Nine T Scrambler. In this video, we opt for a left and right setup, pre-assembling the frame before attaching it to the motorcycle for ease. But you can also mount each element individually, starting with the two flat brackets under the seat frame. Adjusting the height is simple—just flip the brackets to move the side rails and saddlebags up or down. Spacer Tubes Explained: 1. First Set (Optional): These are the spacer tubes between the side rails and the luggage frame. In the video, we use them to create space between the saddlebags and the exhaust pipe, which can be crucial depending on your bike's setup. However, these spacers are optional. If your exhaust is out of the way, you can skip them, which will allow your saddlebags to sit snugly against the motorcycle frame, giving your bike a cleaner, more compact look. 2. Second Set (Required): These spacer tubes are placed underneath the seat frame, between the seat and the luggage frame. Unlike the first set, these are compulsory and provide protection for both your motorcycle and the saddlebag holders.
