Athens, Georgia - Driving Tour

This video is of a Saturday afternoon drive in and around the Athens area and includes some of the University of Georgia campus as well. Athens, also known as Athens-Clarke County, is a consolidated city county located roughly about 80 miles northeast of Downtown Atlanta. Due to its close proximity to Metro Atlanta, it may even be considered a satellite city of Atlanta as it benefits from being close to the far northeastern suburbs. Although it is close to Atlanta, Athens certainly holds its own identity as being the proud home of the University of Georgia -- the flagship school of the University System of Georgia.
