50 miles solo HIKING & WILD CAMPING along The Fen Rivers Way - inspired by KRAIG ADAMS
50 miles Solo on the Fen Rivers Way. Decided to head southbound due to the prevailing winds. Day 1- Kings Lynn to about 1 mile north of Downham Market. Ruins of Wigginhall St Peter Church around the halfway point. 14 miles. Day 2- Quiet and remote until the trail picks up the busy a10 down to Littleport. Where the stretch down to Queen Adelede was being prepped for the boat race. Managed to plod on just south of Ely. 22 miles Day 3- Finally the winds died down and although still cold the day was basking in sunshine. A nice stroll through nature reserves until Waterbeach where the trail became very busy along a paved path all the way into Cambridge. 16 miles
